Commercials that take the form of a news segment. They’re so cleverly done that you don’t know you’re watching an advertisment. Sometimes they use the actual newscasters of the local stations.
Some drug companies like Pfizer have used them. They’re very controversial here. Personally I think they’re unethical.

Trish, what is a "video news release"?

Dirk, it's very disturbing that that woul come right from the top? Is it that they don't care what we think or is it that they think we are too stupid to realize?

Boysie, yuh think it easy. It like we always in world news nowadays. First is Elton John, then is Akon, the Benny Hinn and now terrorism.

Trinigourmet, lol, you too gyul? I guess sooner than we thought. It might have started from Day 1 for all we know.

Mani, I can guarantee that the order to air the segment came straight from the top. Once in a while, orders also come from the top to never, ever say anything bad about Ansa McAl or else. And yes Sammy is back keeping a low profile. His “friend” is still there too.

In the US we have something similar called video news releases. It’s a very troubling practice.
