Courts "borrows" iPod ad Campaign

Written on February 15, 2007 – 11:01 am | by Mani |

Looks like the good folks at Courts went shopping for an ad campaign and ended up stealing iPod’s instead.

Who am I to talk anyway, I stole my header. Plasma is $14,999? Oh lass!! I’d like to announce, I’m going to start taking up donations to buy myself that 42″ LG Plasma TV. (The purple Courts iPod TV). I’ll take whatever you can afford…..actually I think I need a scanner first.

I guess it’s the odd lack of creativity in some TnT adverts…who knows, maybe courts wanted it that way and the agency/designer did not have much choice :s

A quick google search shows apple borrowed the concept as well:

$2000 US for something that’s less than 1500 in the states…. I see the tradition of Courts ripping off Trinis is alive and well.

Ryan, I remember those Lugz ads, I don’t remember the controversy though, but I could see why.

Dre, I hope not, because I sure a Courts lawyer is a busy lawyer.

lol, Ed, in the criminal justice they call that a repeat offender.

Oh for real, ttfootball? I heard that said somewhere else too although I can’t remember now where.
