Cascade Murders

Written on February 1, 2007 – 6:56 pm | by Mani |

I‘m almost as sad as I am bewildered at the murders of Clive and Denise Commissiong. Who is it that does these kinds of things? I’ve never met anyone before who I thought could bludgeon a couple of old age pensioners to death with a crowbar - at least not in my waking hours.

So who does these kinds of things? What do they look like, what do they eat? Who are their parents and grandparents? Do they have brothers and sisters?

Who can look a feeble, wrinkled couple in their eyes then strike them down with a crowbar?

Do I eat next to them in the fast food outlet? Do I sit next to them in the Maxi? Do I walk past them on the streets? How do I know it’s them?

Mani my mom told me about this case this morning. I felt so sick to my stomach. What harm could an elderly couple do to deserve this? (You cowards, that prowl on the innocent)

Who are these beast that walk among us?

My friend was attack last night at gun point and her car stolen, the thieves were unconcerned that people were outside seeing this madness taking place.

Again what is our government going to do regarding this latest heinous crime?

Bloggers I am so fed-up with the current situation in Trinidad it’s disgusting. If you are interested in making a difference please email me at Vote4ChangeTNT@optonline.net

Mani boy we preach, we write, we protect, we call for national shutdown and these criminals are still left to pray on us.

Mani, i know how you feel. Sadly, things tend to get worse before they get better.

Well, Fed-Up, I’m not sure what to think or say myself. Criminals have more power than you or I or even the Government it seems. I heard the other day that our prison rate was decreasing. How could it be decreasing if our crime rate is increasing were it not for the low detection rate?

eemanee, the funny thing is that in 2000, our murder rate was 120. We hae now moved more than 3 times that in just 6 or so years. I’ll hate to see it get any worse.

The answer to those questions is “YES”. You eat next to them, you sit next to dem in the maxi, yuh pay them to cut yuh grass in the yard. And ah think that is why it’s so scarey. They look just like you and me. Not the monsters that we would expect to see. Only difference is dey sick in dey head. Maybe on drugs or just plain wicked. That is all. There is no other explanation for this. Something have to be wrong with yuh to do something like dis.

    That is just so sad.

Atasha, well that is exactly the thing I’m wondering. How do these people not walk around with horns on their heads and forked tails?

How in the world do they just coexist beside us without us knowing who they are?
