Abu Bakr Released
News coming out of the Hall of Justice is that the Imam Yasin Abu Bakr has been freed of all charges of conspiracy to murder expelled Jamaat members Salim Rasheed and Zaki Aubaidah. Lead defence attorney Pamela Elder requested and Justice Imbrahim yielded to her request that the case should not proceed. In his judgment, the Judge said that it would be “unsafe” to send the case to the jury citing witness irregularity among other issues….more to come.

ttfootball, either way…our justice system is in shambles…geez.
Hottie…gyul well witness and police alike fraid to testify against this man.
Boysie, to tell you the truth I wasn’t surprised. As soon as I see how the witness and them behaving and like they doh want to say what they had previously swore to, I know that this was a predictable draw.

Bagogyul, I think hardly anyone was surprised really. When even the police are afraid to testify against him and instead opt to leave the country on the morning that they are to be called as witnesses, well, lets just say no one was shocked when the case was dismissed.

Everybody knows, but nobody knows.
Sweet T&T!
We have not heard the last of this. Somebody is running Trinidad and Tobago, and it’s not the government.
I’m waiting for that name…
Everybody knows, but nobody knows.
